Subject:  Implementation of Electronic Continuation Application

The Tenure Branch of Alberta Energy is highly committed to the evolving business and processing needs of its clients.  Collaborative efforts made through a joint industry/Alberta Energy initiative have resulted in the creation of electronic submissions for all petroleum and natural gas (PNG) continuation and validation applications through the Electronic Transfer System (ETS).  Electronic applications will be mandatory effective February 2, 2015.

Subject:  Oil Sands Monthly Royalty Rates and BVM Pricing Components

This Information Letter provides the Oil Sands Monthly Royalty Rates for Pre- and Post-Payout Gross Royalty Rate, the Post-Payout Net Royalty Rate and prices necessary for operators to calculate royalty payable in accordance with the Oil Sands Royalty Regulation, 2009, A.R. 223/2008.
